I loooooooooove holidays!
My little sister (hermancita in Spanish, coz we're trying to learn Spanish) came out from Edinburgh and spent the most marvellous three weeks in Zim. We went all over the place and I'm feeling so much more sane and back to being Kir, rather than Crazy Kir. (I'm not sure if the hubster would agree though hehe.)
I just found it was so restorative for my mind and my soul to get out of my day to day grind and reconnect with my family and parts of the country that I wish we could get to more often. I've come back feeling re-inspired and am looking forward to writing more regularly, doing more African Apothecary stuff and training my pooches!! (More on that later.)
We were so so blessed to see so much game at Wild Heritage. Even though the water is so SO low, the game was there, so lucky.
Nyanga was stunning. The trees weren't quite changing yet but the weather was glorious and we had some really lovely outings. This sculpture came from the clever artists at World's View and I should have asked what it was called but I've named it The Three Sisters to remind me of the wonderful time we shared together.
